Telling Arts directors and associated practitioners have played a significant role in providing top-quality family entertainment at the Galtres and Future of Music festivals. We have been instrumental in the overall coordination of the mayhem that helped to get the Galtres nominated for a UK Festival award for Best Family Entertainment. Specific elements offered by Telling Arts practitioners at festivals have included  interactive storytelling, stage compering, drumming workshops, beat poetry, drama workshops, arts and crafts. All the activities at the Galtres Festival have been under the banner of a chosen theme – in 2012 it was Knights and Dragons.
