Telling Arts is a Community Interest Company made up of experienced practitioners dedicated to offering participative arts activities for a wide range of community groups. We advise on, initiate, develop and deliver high quality creative projects. Telling Arts provide creative workshops that are inspiring and can aid a process of personal change, in education, community and health settings. We use creative arts to build confidence, skills and enjoyment. Our activities bring people together, promote intergenerational exchange and stimulate change to create stronger, healthier communities.
In 2012 and into 2013 we were heavily involved in the City of York Council’s York Stories Initiative. Please browse our projects pages to explore our work in more detail. We are continually seeking funding for all sorts of exciting projects which are announced on here as they develop. In the meantime if you think you would like Telling Arts to design and deliver creative days or projects for your group or organisation then please do get in touch. No project is too large or too small.

As a Community Interest Company, any profits made will be directed to charity, our selected charity being Brunswick Organic Nurseries. Brunswick is a registered charity (No. 1010178) that offers purposeful work and training to people with learning disabilities (Workers) who are often excluded from having these chances.
